Our Anaerobic Composting Bag has been honored as the first of its kind in India to be selected under the RKVY-RAFTAAR Agribusiness Incubation Scheme at IVRI-ICAR, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare.
OUR STORY
Our mission is to transform traditional composting into efficient, eco-friendly practices with our innovative Anaerobic Composting Bag, aligning with our vision for a sustainable future.
Meet Rameshbhai Rupareliya, the amazing person who started Gir Gau Jatan Sansthan. It’s an organization that focuses on “Goseva” and “गौ अधारित खेती” through which it can help farmers and taking care of the environment. Rameshbhai saw that the old ways of making compost (जैविक खाद), which is like natural fertilizer for crops, were not so good. They needed a lot of work and took up a lot of space. But he didn’t give up and decided to try something new called anaerobic composting bag or advance jivamrut tube.
Why anaerobic composting bag based fertilizer?
- 100% natural with no side effect.
- Efficient waste management system and supports “Gau Adharit Kheti”
- Makes kisaan(farmer) independent, no need to depend on others to get liquid fertilizer.
- Easily moveable, do not require permanent land.
- Doubles the crop production by giving nutrition to soil and plant both.

Problem Statement & Solution
Before an anaerobic bag, I tried multiple liquid fertilizer making methods.
Jivamrut & Bijamrut
Collect equal amounts of cow dung, cow urine and mix them thoroughly in a container and then add water in it. (Jivamrut cow dung and urine to water – 1:3 & Bijamrut cow dung and urine to water – 1:10)
Cover the container with cloth & rest it for 7-10 days, stirring the mixture once every day. After that your fertilizer is ready you have to strain it first.
Panchgavya
As the name suggests, take 5 liters of cow urine, 2 liters of cow dung, 2 liters of cow milk, 1 liter of cow curd, and 100 grams of cow ghee and mix them thoroughly in a container.
Cover the container with clean cloth & let it fermentate for 15-20 days. Then I strain Panchgavya to use on soil.
Problem
By using Jivamrit & Panchgavya composting method, I found similar common problems.
- I have to strain liquid to separate it from solid waste.
- It took me so much time and energy. Also, I have to stir it everyday.
- If I want to produce more liquid fertilizer, I have to use more containers which take up so much space and have to stir each container daily.
Go Krupa Amrutam
I started using go krupa amrutam by gopalbhai sutariya. What I like about this culture is it does not require any straining process.
Take a container and add 200 liters of water followed by 1 liter of gau kripa amritam bacterial culture. Also add 2 kg of organic jaggery slurry and 2 liters of fresh cow butter milk.
Cover the container and put it under any shady tree for 5 to 7 days. Stir it daily for 5 minutes. Your culture is ready to use.
You can repeat this process when 10 liters of culture remain in the container. Follow the same process and again your 200 liters of bacterial culture will be ready within 7 days.

Problem
Here again I have to depend on other sources to get bacterial culture. Also, I want to make more liquid fertilizer, I have to use multiple containers which require much space & complex management.
Anaerobic Composting Bag Method
Finding all the above problems solution in this one anaerobic fertilizer bag which is also chosen by Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI).
Bonus: I combined go krupa amrutam and anaerobic bag based liquid fertilizer which works great on soil and my crop!
Problem Solution
Anaerobic composting is a simpler way to make fertilizer in the absence of oxygen. You just need to wait for 45 days once, and then you’ll have natural fertilizer ready to use. After that for daily use, whatever amount of raw organic materials you will put in a bag, you will get the same amount of liquid fertilizer within 24 hours. (If you put in 120 liters of material, you’ll get 120 liters of liquid fertilizer in just 24 hours) It’s like whatever you put in, you get out, and it’s super quick!
The special design and materials used in the bag help break down the waste without needing air and easy collecting the liquid fertilizer. This means it’s better for the environment and makes managing waste easier and more efficient. (eco-friendly)
With anaerobic bacteria bag, you can also make pesticides by changing input raw material and also get biogas too.
